Impact Statement
As a small rural volunteer fire company, we are more than first responders—we are neighbors helping neighbors. Our presence ensures that even the most remote homes and farms have access to life-saving assistance. Through fire suppression, rescue operations, and community outreach, we strengthen public safety, foster resilience, and preserve the close-knit spirit that defines our town.
Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company’s Wonderful Team

The history of the Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company
Incorporated in 1948, the GTVFC or Station 70 served a community that was in terrible need of assistance.
The Relief Association for the Department was also incorporated in 1948.
There was a re-organization of the Fire Company by Greenfield Township and the Fire company was reborn with a new and profound desire to keep the community safe.
